Re2O is made by L&C Bio from human acellular dermal matrix (hADM) processed into micro-particles, supplementing ECM components such as collagen and elastin directly in the dermis. Most boosters signal the skin to make collagen; Re2O supplies the scaffold itself. A finer version, Re2O Fine, is used for the under-eye area and neck.

The dermis is held together by the extracellular matrix — collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. When this framework thins, skin loses density and fine lines appear.
