Also known as: XERF RF, dual-frequency radiofrequency
XERF is a monopolar radiofrequency device from Cynosure Lutronic that delivers 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz together in each shot, with depth set in three steps (shallow, middle, deep). Discomfort is relatively low, so most sessions need no numbing, and it suits regular firmness care.

XERF isn’t a cheaper Thermage. It works on the same principle, splits the depth in two, and suits regular maintenance.

Questions
XERF FAQ
XERF or Thermage?
Both are monopolar RF; XERF delivers two frequencies in one shot with depth set in three steps, and tends to be gentler. We choose by goal and budget.
Can it treat the eyes?
Yes, with a small tip for the eye area.
Does it hurt?
There is warmth, but most people don’t need numbing. If you are worried about pain, let us know beforehand. Besides numbing cream and cooling, we can use painkillers, anesthetic injections or sedation, depending on the treatment, to manage pain first.
Ask the doctor directly.
If something isn’t right for you, we’ll say so. No same-day decision required.
